Therapy for individuals and couples
Janice's background in clinical psychology enables her to draw on various therapeutic models to provide a thorough assessment and treatment approach for many frequently presenting individual difficulties. These include anxiety states, depression, low self esteem, confidence and socialisation issues, grief and bereavement, health related fears, parenting problems, gender issues, sexual abuse and assault. Her approach is an integrated one using psychodynamic understanding combined with behavioural interventions where appropriate. She ran a group for young adults in the NHS for many years, so is very familiar with teenage difficulties.
In addition, Janice has much experience working with complex couple problems such as...
- separation/divorce and managing the impact on children
- hostility
- affairs
- conflict and disharmony
- rejection
